Climate and people
The aim is cleaner transport and ownership for people who have been left out of formal finance. Here is what we intend, and what we do not yet claim.
The Planet
Moving informal transport onto electric vehicles, charging and renewable power cuts emissions from a sector that is hard to clean up. DTON’s pathway combines vehicle finance, charging and swap stations and clean energy.
We are building a measurement, reporting and verification method with the Foundation Readiness Program. Until a verifier confirms results, DTON does not claim verified emission reductions.
The People
Many riders and drivers cannot offer collateral, so they cannot borrow to buy a vehicle. Pay-As-You-Operate™ lets them pay toward ownership from earnings, and builds a financial record along the way.
Training and placement through DTON Academy™ are meant to lead to work, not only to a certificate.

If you ride, drive or want to learn
The platform is not open to the public yet. The pilot is planned for Austin and Benin City. If you want to be told when training, vehicle ownership or driver places open in your city, write to us.
