How funds are protected
Funders should not have to trust a founder’s word. These controls apply to every dollar of the Catalyst Grant.
An independent director
An independent director is seated at the start. The director accepts each deliverable, controls the contingency and signs the readiness statement at the end of the program.
A dedicated account
Grant funds go into a new US dollar account held by DTON Group Inc. Payments need dual authorization, with an independent second approver.
Restricted use
Grant funds pay for the program only. They do not pay shareholder returns, vehicles, stations or construction, the pay of the Founder or the COO, or any payment to Rese Holdings Ltd., a separate company founded by the Founder. One capped relocation line is described openly in the proposal.
Conflicts of interest
Related-party dealings are disclosed and decided without the interested party.
One source per line
Each budget line has one source of funds. A cost paid by one funder is not claimed from another, and DTON reports every award it receives.
Honest labels
Historical figures are marked founder-verified and unaudited. Pending patent applications are not called patents. Targets are marked as targets.
